ThinkPad T520
The Lenovo ThinkPad T520 has all the features that define it as an excellent business laptop. Introduced to the world around mid-March of 2011, the ThinkPad T520 is designed to replace the ThinkPad T510. Some significant changes accompany this replacement model, most notably in performance. Users can expect to see more performance from the ThinkPad T520 because it now uses Intel's second generation of Core Series processors. The Lenovo ThinkPad T520 uses 2nd Generation Intel Core processors for more powerful performance as well as Intel HD Graphics for a likewise more powerful video graphics performance with less energy use. Graphics has been improved as well. A new hybrid graphics solution powers the ThinkPad T520. It includes a new and upgraded integrated controller from Intel and a discrete controller from NVIDIA. With this system, the laptop can switch back and forth depending on the need. When the laptop does not require as much graphics performances, it switches to the integrated solution for better battery conservation. However, when graphic intensive applications are running, the ThinkPad T520 switches to the discrete controller for more power. The Lenovo ThinkPad T520 is also well known for its durability because of its passing of tough military specifications tests. Hard drive security is also guaranteed with its safeguard features that include features like encrypted hard drive technology with remote management support, integrated fingerprint reader authentication, Trusted Platform Module and Lenovo Hardware Password Manager, among many more. |
