ThinkPad Edge E520
ThinkPad Edge E520 debuted in April 2011 and it is a new system under the ThinkPad Edge Series. This system comes in a 15.6-inch form factor and utilizes new technologies, such as Intel's Sandy Bridge processors, which are 2nd generation Core Series chips. The Edge E520 caters to small and medium sized business professionals. It offers them an affordable and stylish mobile computing solution. With the Edge E520, users will find a much slimmer and lighter notebook when comparing it to previous generations of ThinkPad systems. It's also got a new design, one that is highlighted by a chrome metallic lip that circles the edges of the screen. On the performance side of things, the ThinkPad Edge E520 is equipped with 2nd generation Intel Core processors. It can be outfitted with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and can accommodate up to 750GB of storage space. Two options are available for the notebook's graphics. Shoppers can choose to go with a new Intel integrated graphics solution which offers twice as much graphics performance as the previous generation of Intel integrated graphics. Or they can go with a switchable graphics solution with a discrete AMD Radeon graphics card. |
